Vineyards
Apuglia: In the leveled and sunny vineyards of the Salento area, Calatrasi cultivates the best selection of
Primitivo and Negroamaro that are the indigenous varietals of Puglia.
The high quality of these grapes allows Calatrasi to produce important wines, with a typical deep purple color, rich in flavor and with a complex structure. The
wines of Puglia go well with red meat and game.
Sicily: From the hot
vineyards of Sicily, wines of intense and rich perfume are grown, with a complex structure and long persistent finish. The white wines have powerful
citrus fruit and floral notes on the nose typical of the grapes of Catarratto, Grillo,
Viognier and Chardonnay.
